Meet Elizabeth Glover, LPCC, Columbus Therapist
I provide individual and couples therapy in Upper Arlington, Ohio, for older teens and adults who feel stuck—whether that looks like anxiety, relationship struggles, low self-worth, or navigating a difficult life transition. I also work with clients across the Columbus area. Virtual therapy is available for individuals and couples throughout Ohio.
Many of the clients I work with struggle with abandonment fears, attachment wounds, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others.
My approach to therapy is relational and attachment-focused, grounded in the belief that healing happens through understanding your inner world and the ways your past experiences continue to shape your present. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to help individuals and couples build insight, resilience, and more authentic connections.
Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin moving toward greater clarity, peace, and self-trust. If you’re wondering whether working together could be a good fit, starting with a brief consult can be a helpful first step.
My Approach to Counseling
Training & Background in counseling
Having gained valuable experience in agency and group practice settings early in my career, I am thrilled to embark on the next chapter of establishing my independent counseling practice. My journey in the mental health field began with supporting families in the community at St. Vincent Family Services, leading me to expand my expertise through roles in school and private practice environments. This diverse background has equipped me with a well-rounded skill set that I bring to my practice.
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression & Relationships In Columbus, Ohio
I have pursued extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including Gestalt, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method, Group Therapy, and Attachment Trauma. This comprehensive training background allows me to offer a versatile and tailored approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I am committed to providing a supportive and enriching therapeutic experience that fosters growth, healing, and empowerment.
